ROLE DESCRIPTION

At Curve Analytics, we are a next-gen insights and analytics consultancy that leverages digital consumer data to help businesses unlock consumer opportunities. We work with data from a range of sources – from Social, Reviews and Search to Web, eCommerce and CRM – to deliver meaningful insights and leading analytics solutions for the world’s biggest brands.

We work across a wide range of areas, including:

  • Consumer and Category Insights: unearthing fresh consumer and category insights such as needs, perceptions, trends and audience segments
  • Product Innovation: uncovering consumer expectations and desires for product and product experience
  • Brand Health and Strategy: unleashing the power of digital data to optimise the brand portfolio and monitor, benchmark and improve brand health
  • Marketing and Consumer Experience: delivering data-driven solutions to inform marketing strategy and campaign activation
  • Digital Performance Tracking: showcasing the metrics that matter through reports and dashboards to enable fast and accurate decision making
  • Data and AI: pushing the boundaries with digital data, technology and AI solutions to give our clients a competitive advantage  

As a start-up, we can move faster than most companies and do things differently. We have experienced rapid growth so far and we are now looking for a Consultant (Insights & Analytics) to join our growing team.

ABOUT THE ROLE

You will join our Insights and Analytics Consulting Practice and work in close partnership with our Technology team. As a Consultant in our team, you’ll play a crucial role in delivering strategic insights to clients, driving analytics programmes and be integral to shaping the future of brands we work with.

You will have the opportunity to work on a range of client projects and interface with multiple business functions, supporting the delivery of workstreams while also being hands-on in delivering analysis. A confident communicator with a passion for the power of digital data, you will bring an innovative and creative mindset to the team.

Beyond client work, you will play a key part in shaping the future of our fast-growing start-up. You will have the chance to get involved with internal workstreams such as marketing, sales, culture and socials, and capability development.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
  • Working as part of a cross-functional team to design, develop and deliver analytics solutions and insights reports
  • Analysing consumer data from various sources to uncover brand and product insights to support the client’s strategic priorities and deliver commercial growth
  • Applying critical and analytical thinking and frameworks to problems, in order to identify opportunities and solutions
  • Working with a range of business and technical stakeholders to understand and gather requirements (to inform analytical solutions and scope insights projects)
  • Following a structured approach to analysing data in order to uncover stories, themes and insights
  • Delivering insights and recommendations using relevant visualisation and compelling storytelling
  • Learning how to plan, scope and manage the delivery of new work, with support from more senior colleagues
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
  • Understanding and experience of one or more of the following: traditional research, digital research, insights projects and/or analytics projects
  • Commitment to delivering outstanding work
  • Innate curiosity – keen to explore new topics and develop your knowledge
  • Excellent communication, teamwork and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical skills and an ability to interpret data to pull out key insights
  • Ability to apply creative thinking and strategic thinking
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and a fast paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Proven track record of project delivery
  • Experience utilising digital data tools (e.g., social listening tools, search keyword tools, web traffic tools, etc.) is a bonus
